Fuji, red delicious, golden, Jonathan, jonagold, braeburn.....the list goes on and on. We all have our favorites. I love a good Fuji but we recently bought some jonagolds at the Applejack Festival that are absolutely delicious. I've noticed my apple taste buds have changed over the years. I can remember loving every bite of a granny smith and now my mouth puckers at the thought of that super sour fruit. And then there is the question of what type of apple do you use for pies, or jams, or salads. I found this list of types and what they are best for. I think it's a great list.
